Serious: Bandit Troubles
EAST BLUE, FOOSHA VILLAGE, 1:30 PM
Jack was on the way to anywhere really, from his old hometown. Being forced to run due to the crimes he committed he's looking to start somewhere else, or finally start the exploration of the world that he wanted to do for so long since his childhood.
Finally after waiting for so long, he saw an island in the distance. As it got bigger and bigger he realized he was starting to get close to the island, he started putting on his costume, he assumes by the crimes he's committed they would've taken a photo of him, so he's going to be masked up so nobody would recognize him, he puts his sword into his sheath on his back and waits until he reaches the island.
He needed to be anywhere just as long as it's away from his hometown, he did need supplies to be able to survive on the seas and he would probably do a quick job or two just to gather up some money for that purpose.
He finally reached the islands shores, he stepped off and as he started walking near the docks, some people started to give a glare at him. He waved back assuming they wanted to start a conversation or something but as he looked at them, they just looked away and hurriedly walked away... that was weird? oh well, it was probably because Jack had a sword on his back and with the look of his mask, he did look threatening.
He needed to know what island he was actually on, he lost count of how many days he was sailing out in the sea and needed any form of contact to bring him back into normal sense, he walked to the town from the docks and tried to greet some people, but like before they also just walked away, until one finally stopped walking away and acknowledged him.
"A pirate hmm? we haven't had one of those in a long time in this village... guess the only thing we have close to pirates are those bandits."
Jack was confused, why did this man think Jack was a pirate? sure he looked scary, Jack knows that much but that would explain why people are walking away, threatened at Jack's clothes and mask that they think he's a pirate.
"I'm really not a pirate... I just don't want anyone to know who I am, which is why I am wearing this mask."
the man laughs at him at Jack's response.
"Sure, sure... whatever you say, if you're looking to settle down for the night or something, the tavern over there should be good for you, just be careful alright?"
then the man walks away, why was he doubtful? Jack legitimately wasn't a pirate, at least he quit being one when his crew was massacred by the marines, anyway Jack walked to the tavern on the mans suggestion and immediately as he walked in all eyes were on him, some men returned back to their business but others were watching him carefully.
Jack ignored this, as he decided to sit at a spare table, thinking about things properly now that he's back in civilization. What can Jack do at this point? should he continue his path as a pirate or just do whatever he wants? he clearly can't go back to his hometown as it is but maybe... hmm, he'll have to think more about this notice as he notices a man going over to his table, he stands on the opposite side of the table Jack is sitting.
"Hey there... mind telling me why you're here?"
That's a weird question...
"I'm just here to think about things, why? is there a problem?"
the man then laughs at Jack, other men at another table seem to be surprised at Jack's reaction, then the man replies to Jack.
"You really don't know? huh... that's funny."
Jack had no idea about what this man was talking about, did Jack do something bad? I mean, apart from what he did apart from his hometown, he only just walked in.

Re: Serious: Bandit Troubles
Heated to god knows what temperature, with a taste of sick hanging from his lips and burning in the back of his throat this morning was starting like most others had in the past few months he'd been stuck in Foosha Village. The sun crept past the blinds so easily and blinded him in his dreams dragging him into the awakened state that real people lived in with real problems, just like his own.
Everyone has problems, just no two are alike. And not so many so similar to the problems that wait for Genzo Noroi with each and every morning.
His mouth tasted like an ash tray and eyes felt heavy from all of the sleepless nights. It was bound to catch up with him and when it had it hit him hard. Kinda like a baseball bat to the brain hard. Opening his eyes and rolling out of bed Genzo landed on the hard unforgiving wooden floor boards of the small horse drawn carriage he'd stolen.
Hiding it high up in the mountains no one would know nor hear what he was doing and that was just the way he liked it.
Looking towards the other end of the carriage he saw the reason he was up here in the first place and after a few seconds of recollection he remembered.
The drink, smoke and sleepless nights had caught up to him, but nothing would stop him in his quest for revenge or make him forget his past.
Standing up and approaching the corner Genzo removed a cigarette from his jacket pocket which hung on the wall off of a small hook. Removing a box of matches with i he quickly popped a cigarette between his lips and lit it with a match before he ruffled his hair which was a mess and crouched down in front of Reymuss Antiko.
Reymuss Antiko was one of the bandits who'd been too dumb to realize Genzo was in the bushes he'd decided to take a leak in whilst they high jacked a convoy.
All Genzo needed to do tog grab him was follow on horse till they stopped and watch what they were doing. As soon as he heard one of them speak about going for a piss he just needed to get close. He'd like to have forgotten the situation which occurred as it left Reymuss with a few cuts somewhere he wished there wasn't any and Genzo with a little too much piss on his jacket.
Looking over the bloody beaten body of Reymuss Antiko and many many cigarette burns over the bearded face, Genzo grinned as he jabbed at Reymuss's left eye with his cigarette.
That should wake the bastard up. he thought to himself and as luck would have it, he was right.
Screams filled the carriage and the eyes of Reymuss sprung open.
"Morning shit bag."
"Ahh shit, I was really really hoping I wouldn't still be here!"
"You wouldn't be if you sold out your boss."
"F**k you!"
"That's what I might just have to do if you won't open up about the bandit king!"
"NO! GOD NO! PLEASE DON'T!"
"Then you better start talking real fast."
placing the cigarette back between his lips Genzo inhaled and stood up turning away to grab a chair. Placing it in front of Reymuss he sat down and leaned on the back which faced Reymuss. Exhaling he looked down at Reymuss with a bored expression.
He was bored, bored of watching and listening to this piece of shit living and existing in his personal living space.
"So this bandit king of yours. Where is he?"

Serious: Bandit Troubles
Jack stood up to look at the man directly, then choosing his next words carefully as it appears the conversation got intense.
"Don't know about what?" he said sharply, Jack was ready to draw out his sword the instant this man would try anything, but then the man reaches into his pocket, bringing out a bunch of papers, looking like wanted posters... as he goes through the pile of posters he finally finds the one he was looking for and brings it up, looking at it carefully and then looking at Jack.
"You don't know about this?" then flipping the wanted poster around so Jack can see... Jack was surprised, he was sure he would get one but he didn't know they would make a bounty poster based on his disguise.
"See? I don't know what you did.... but that money could be useful... watch out." then this man walks out the door, if anything Jack could tell that sounded like a threat, he would have to be cautious from now on, then the other men from the other table stood up and walked to Jack, one of them starts to talk
"You better not try anything, we've dealt with scum like you before." then they sit back down at their table... what an exciting start, Jack was hoping to leave what happened at his hometown behind but it seems like it'll follow him everywhere for his life now that he has a bounty.
Jack was getting all the hints to just get the hell out of there, with a reputation as a pirate, or a guy with a bounty like that there's no way he'll be able to work a job to get any money. He decides to walk out the tavern and walk back on the path to the docks.
But about midway, he started to hear voices in the distance and distant footsteps, he thought it was just villagers at first but as he kept walking, the footsteps got louder, realizing that it might be an ambush of some kind, Jack instantly draws out his blade, Evoca from his back and holds the hilt with both his hands, looking around him for any sudden movements.
"Get out and face me... I know someone's there."

Re: Serious: Bandit Troubles
"We don' actually know. He leaves for little sabbaticals every weekend and comes back hungover to high heaven on the Monday. But this Monday he didn't come back. He's been missing for three days."
"When he goes on these sabbaticals where does he go?"
"Strip clubs mostly."
"Well there's only two of them in town so I guess I'll be paying both a visit."
Grinning as it sounded like Genzo was about to leave Reymuss sat up ready to try and escape once Genzo had left the carriage.
"Don't think about trying to escape, cause you'll regret it badly. And before you think I'm taking the carriage into the town you're wrong. You're staying right here."
Genzo got to his feet and inhaled on his cigarette before exhaling and stretching. Feeling his body aching Genzo opened the door and and hopped out. Looking towards the horses at the front he could see they were hungry.
Reaching into the carriage for some horse feed Genzo pulled their feeding bags on and slammed the doors to the carriage shut.
He pulled down a bag from the front of the carriage which had some dynamite. Tying the dynamite to both doors he attached at little match and lighting strip so if the doors where to open they'd spark the match and light the dynamite.
Genzo had made a point of cutting the ignition string on the dynamite so it had less time to burn.
Heading into town and down the mountain he was ready for a conflict with the bandit king and to bring the bastard to his knees. He just hoped the bandit Reymuss hadn't been lying. But the way things were at this current point in time. He didn't have much else to go.
Not unless he fancied bringing another bandit home with him.

Serious: Bandit Troubles
As Jack clearly stated someone was around creeping on Jack, about six people come out of hiding armed to the teeth. One of them has a quick look at Jack himself, then at the style of the blade Jack was carrying, it can be assumed these people are bandits.
"That's quite a blade, bet it'll be a nice piece to sell once we get it off ya corpse, or alive. Were going to take your bounty."
Jack then brings out his left hand, his right hand was carrying Evoca his sword, he started to make a room. As he starts charging it he looks around at the men around him, about 3-4 of them are a bit scrawny, meanwhile the other 2 seems to be brutes. This won't be an easy situation to get out of, as he was done analyzing them his room completely goes up to 10 metres.
"Ooohhh, a devil fruit user eh? let's see if the legend of the Devil fruit's power is true."
As the bandit finishes they already start attacking fast, and before Jack could do anything in his Room a bandit was coming fast at him, he was forced to block the attack, as he passed through Jack another one goes through, Jack made a quick step to the side and rushed through the bandit slashing on his left, which inflicted some damage on the bandit. But he seems to still be standing, then from behind Jack gets knocked to the ground, then turning around to see who it was, seeing a bandit with his knife out.
"This one is a cut above the other bounties we hunt, it's safer to just kill him."
then as the bandit was just about to stab Jack with his knife, he was still in Jack's room, Jack then pulled the knife out of the bandits hand since it's in his room, and flown at great speed towards the bandits head, the bandit tried to dodge but failed to do so, and instead it got driven to his throat. As he falls to the ground and he takes his final breath, Jack lifts up the knife off the ground and flies it towards Jack, grabbing it.
"Huh... this is useful, I think I'll keep this."
Jack rubs the blood off by putting his hand into his cape and rubbing it off, then putting it in his pocket, one of the other bandits try to attack Jack, but he attempted to do a direct rushing stab at Jack which Jack easily riposted, seeing an opening Jack quickly pushes his blade through the mans chest, going in with great force. Jack pulls it back out of the bandits chest and he falls to the ground, coughing blood and bleeding badly on the chest.
"This is out of our league... come on! we'll get the others and finish this bastard off!"
The rest of the bandits run away, as they appear to be out of sight Jack removes his room.
"Hmm... attacking me is unacceptable, I think I'll finish them off... say..."
he then looks over to the bandit who is still alive, who is a few minutes off from dying, he walks up to the bandit, crouching down.
"I'm sure you know how this is gonna go down, either tell me where your hideout is or I'll make you suffer, those wounds you have will make it easier to do so."
the bandit seemed to have struggles at talking from his injuries, every attempt just ends with him stopping. Jack gets tired of this and looks at the bandit.
"I got all day, trust me I'll make your day... or should I say, your death easier if you just tell me where they are."
"That's quite a blade, bet it'll be a nice piece to sell once we get it off ya corpse, or alive. Were going to take your bounty."

Re: Serious: Bandit Troubles
The Lusty Leopard.
A gentleman's club where the women wear tails, tall heels and nothing else.
Well maybe an ear ring or two. But there wasn't much left to the imagination.
Clenching his fists tightly in anticipation of running into the bandit leader Genzo took a deep breath and headed in. Pushing past the doors and the doormen who searched him from head to toe, Genzo quickly caught a glimpse of flesh and then a little more as he made his way past other patrons.
Quickly scanning the room for the bandit bastard who stole his swords, Genzo eyes failed him. He couldn't see him anywhere. Unless it was a backroom, but he wasn't risking a fight with the bouncer.
Sitting down at the bar on a stool he slid a note across the bar to the bar tender.
"Just give me a stiff drink." he replied removing a cigarette from his pocket and slipping it between his lips. Lighting it as the drink and his change arrived, Genzo made himself at home.
Lifting the drink in between puffs he sipped at it keeping his eyes trained on the doors, the stage and the backrooms for VIPs.
The bastard might be enjoying a little backroom fun. But as far as he'd been able to see, there was no bandit king in the back.
As his drink neared the end and his cigarette had a few good puffs still in it, Genzo stubbed out the end and moved towards a free dancer who was patrolling the floor.
Slipping a note out of his wallet and holding it before the lady with tattoos down her back from neck to arse, Genzo opened wide and spoke.
"Fancy making a bit of money? I could use a dance."
Smiling in return like they all did when money was flashed she grabbed Genzo by the hand and led him into the backrooms and private booths.
Passing other booths he took a quick glance to see if he could find the king in one of the booths, but as he searched and searched his hope is running out.
Genzo started thinking he had the wrong one and by the looks of things, he most certainly had.

Serious: Bandit Troubles
Jack started to press the stab wound on the man with this thumb, he starts screaming until he finally says "STO- STOP!" then Jack does stop, from the looks of things this man finally looks like he is ready to talk.
"Boss... strip club..."
"Your boss is at a strip club?"
"Ye... yes..."
"Well, I said I needed the hideout but that will do I guess, I'll finish you off as promised." as the bandit started to struggle, showing that he didn't want to die, but then Jack brings out his knife, as he was about to cut off the bandits throat he hears voices in the distance and a lot more footsteps then before, indicating that the other bandits are on their way.
"Well... looks like today is your lucky day, do me a favor and bleed out yeah?"
Jack started to run back into town before the other bandits could arrive to the scene, getting there fast enough it seems like he is already in town, which means he'll have to hide somewhere soon as they'll try to find him in town. As he's looking around, he sees two strip clubs. Not having the time he rushes to the nearest one and walks in, taking off his mask to blend in with the crowd, as he already has a bounty with his mask on.
It seems to work, as no one pays him any attention. He sits down on a chair, looking around for anything... suspicious. When doing so, it looks like a dancer walks up to Jack "Hey there, feeling a little lonely-" "Back off." then after that, the woman walks off appearing to be annoyed by Jack's rudeness.
He notices a few bandits starting to walk in, they don't seem to recognize Jack because he has his mask off, they appear to be walking backstage. Then a few seconds later walk out with a much bigger guy, but couldn't see fully as the club started to get more and more crowded. He starts rushing through the crowd to try and follow the guy, which he assumes is the bandits boss but as he finally got out of the crowd they're gone.
"Damn..." he then starts laying back against the wall near the entrance to the strip club, waiting for anymore bandits to come in as they appeared to be all gone as Jack got out of the crowd.
"Boss... strip club..."

Re: Serious: Bandit Troubles
With the dance finished and no sign of the bandit leader, Genzo got to his feet and dusted himself down. Heading from the room led by the lady who'd danced for him, he removed his cigarette and placed it back into his mouth. Lighting it once more he made for the exit.
Time to check out the Seductress.
Making his way towards the exit, Genzo inhaled and exhaled, it was good to feel the nicotine coursing through his body once more and feeling the relief of stress, despite not finding the bastard king.
As the smoke from his cigarette dissipated at the entrance, Genzo spotted two bandits in the alleyway just to the left.
If anyone'll know it's these two fuckers!"
Dashing towards them he quickly served up a simple bashing of the heads in which he smashed their heads together grabbing each by the side of the head.
As the two clashed and one hit the ground unconscious Genzo stepped on the other's back pinning him to the ground.
"Where's the bandit king?"
"What're you on about!?"
"You're leader! Where is he?"
"We don't know!"
"That's what the last guy told me and I didn't believe him either."
"We're serious! It's who we're looking for now!"
"You tellin' me you lost your king are you?"
"Yea basically."
"You better start talking some actual truths or you're going to be in a world of hurt. I see you got a nice blade there."
"Don't you touch my knife."
"I don't think your in much of a situation to be making demands."
Gulping the bandit spilled everything.
"I'm serious, he goes out on these sabbaticals, usually tells us he's going to a strip club but this time we've been looking for him and haven't been able to find him anywhere. He's gone AWOL. We need him back almost as much as you seem to need to find him whoever you are."
"You see him you tell him his champion is looking for him."
Getting his foot from the bandit's back and taking his knife with him, Genzo finished the bandit with a heel to the back of the head. Knocking him out like his partner Genzo headed into the streets in the direction of the seductress.
They may have been lying but they also may not have been. It was best to be sure.

Serious: Bandit Troubles
Jack finally catches a number of bandits going through the strip club, one of them gets a dancer to go backstage with him. Jack walks through the backstage as well, seeing the booth where he walked in, as he was about to go in the dancer tried to stop him, saying "Hey sir! wait your-" then he pushes her to the side, then grabbing the bandit by the neck.
"Where's your boss? I won't ask again."
the bandit tries to struggle, but with each attempt to break the hold Jack grabs hold on tighter and tighter, nearly choking him to death. Jack stops for a while, then the bandit starts to smile when he looks behind Jack.
"Right behind you."
"Huh?"
Jack got the idea instantly, rolling out of the way then as he stands back up from the roll, he sees the booth of where the bandit he was holding completely destroyed by a gigantic mace from a massive figure, this man put the mace back onto his shoulder effortlessly and the booth appears to have blood coming from it, indicating that the bandit was completely smashed.
"So... you're the boss I assume?"
"Yep. You killed two of my boys, and I don't appreciate that... Jack, these boys couldn't get your bounty, guess if you want something done do it yourself."
Jack assumed a man with such a mace would be slowed down, but this wasn't the case. As this massive figure started to attack Jack he did so with great speed and strength, Jack was just barely keeping up, one mis-step and he would be squashed as well. Jack waited for an opening to attack and once the man got his mace stuck in the wall, Jack managed to get a successful stab through in his chest, but he chucks Jack off effortlessly.
"You're fast, but your damage doesn't mean shit to me." The man pulls the sword off his chest, and chucks it back at Jack. "Come on... make this fun, I like a challenge." then the man attempts another swing of his mace, Jack dodges it and then he makes a second attempt with not much power, Jack successfully dodges this, Jack is starting to catch onto this man's pattern of attack.
The man makes another massive swing which leaves him to an attack, Jack quickly made a quick step to the man's right, Jack slashed his sword to the left which inflicted the man's left arm. "Now you've done it you little shit..." then he instantly does a 180 and with it, a incoming attack to Jack, with no time to dodge Jack decides to block the attack purely with his sword, holding the sword's hilt with his left arm and the blade on the right and strengthening his grip to block the attack. This blocked the front damage of the mace but Jack was sent flying to the wall, crushing through outside. At this point Jack can barely just get back up, he starts to crawl.
"Really, little ant? that's all you have?"
Other bandits started to come from the building, witnessing the fight and seeing their boss winning, one of them yells out.
"Yeah boss! kill him!"
the boss acknowledges what the bandit said, and looking back to Jack.
"I'll hand it to you kid, it's been a long time since anyone actually did any damage to me. But it's time for you to go upstairs, give God my regards."
